One whole year has passed since my accident in Alaska. Healing scars, building muscles, and starting new ventures such as bar tending and nursing school are what have kept me occupied. This summer will be a great time to further my ambitions and carry out those goals that were put on hold during my recovery. I will be patient, diligent and understanding. I now know to slow down, realize that life is long and may not happen the way I anticipate. But I will adjust accordingly and have faith that everything will work out just fine.

This group of photos are from the beginning of May, and are still some of my favorites. I enjoy alternative processes, like this first photo for example. Editing for this group didn't appeal to me like it does with my later Alaskan photography.
