For My Final Project... "The Greenhouse"

Today was my last day in Anchorage, and I finally made it out to the Russian Jack Greenhouse (not the official name). With as much time as I had on my hands with my recovery,  I sure as hope my photography has improved! This accident is still yet to reveal its purpose to me, however, I already feel some sort of growth or rebirth has occurred. Also since Alaska and Florida are polar opposites, /i was fortunate enough to enjoy two seasons of spring... oh how I'll miss you Russian Jack. Back to Florida I go...

4 weeks Since My Surgery

Wanted to give a visual update, so I can stop freaking everyone out! I've already started knitting again, and it feels really good! And my swelling has mostly vanished, so I can fit back into t-shirts.

If anyone Skypes, comment with your Skype name and your real name, but you will have to post as anonymous.

And thanks to everyone for keeping me in your thoughts, I really need it! Love you all!

This Is What I Am

This blog shows my growth as an artist as well as a person. I need a creative outlet that allows me to hone my skills, and  scratch through these walls of fear and uncertainty that my work is even worth looking at. What's great about the decision to get a degree in photography was it showed my dedication and passion for this craft that can't be denied, forgotten, or abstained from. This is what I am, and the best part about it, it  makes me happy.

Photos from Denali

This group of photos are from the beginning of May, and are still some of my favorites. I enjoy alternative processes, like this first photo for example. Editing for this group didn't appeal to me like it does with my later Alaskan photography.
